Julian is the head, the hands and the heart behind the Scheid wines. The real motivation to take over the family winery and produce his own wines came after he understood the demanding craft behind every bottle of wine.
His aim is to create wines that clearly reflect their origin. This means influencing or changing the origin of the grapes as little as possible. Organic viticulture is therefore the only sensible option for him. Only when he accepts this challenge and creates wines from the most difficult conditions can he reflect the actual origin.
